The Fall meeting takes place in the main campus (Humanities) in the old city of Freiburg (see maps below).

Ticket for Local Public Transport

A ticket for public transport is not included in the conference fee.

Tickets can be purchased with the VAG (Freiburger Verkehrs AG), using the vending machines in the tram and at some stations.

Arrival by Car

To get to the university centre, take the exit Freiburg Mitte and continue towards Stadtmitte/Universität. Then turn left into Werthmannstraße followed by right into Rempartstraße. Parking places can be found in the Uni-Parkhaus.

 

Arrival by Train

The main campus (conference venue) is within walking distance of the main station (about 600 meters). If you take the tram, please take the lines 1, 3, 4, or 5 towards the city centre, and travel one stop to the Stadttheater (see network map).

Arrival by Plane

The nearest airports are Basel/Mulhouse, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. From Basel there is a shuttle bus (Flixbus, approx. 1 hour) to Freiburg, from Stuttgart or Frankfurt it is possible to reach Freiburg by taking a Deutsche Bahn train (approx. 2 hours).
